Uninstall ToolboxAI

Salesforce won't uninstall a managed package while other parts of your org still reference its components. Before uninstalling, remove ToolboxAI from any pages you added it to and clear out its permission set assignments.

Remove ToolboxAI from your pages​

  1. Open each page where you added ToolboxAI — record pages, Home pages, or App pages (see Add AI to pages if you need a reminder of where you placed it).
  2. Click the gear icon → Edit Page to open Lightning App Builder.
  3. Select the ToolboxAI component on the page and click the delete icon to remove it.
  4. Click Save, then Activate if prompted.

Repeat for every page you added ToolboxAI to. Salesforce will block the uninstall if any page still references the component.

Remove permission set assignments​

  1. In Salesforce Setup, search for Permission Sets.
  2. Open ToolboxAI AI Generation Access, click Manage Assignments, select all assigned users, and click Remove Assignment.
  3. Repeat for ToolboxAI Admin Access.

Uninstall the package​

  1. In Salesforce Setup, search for Installed Packages.
  2. Find ToolboxAI in the list and click Uninstall.
  3. Salesforce scans for anything still depending on the package. If it flags something beyond the page components and permission sets above, resolve those first, then reload the uninstall page.
  4. Optionally check the box to export a backup of your data before uninstalling, then click Uninstall.

Uninstalling the package doesn't cancel your Stripe subscription — that's managed separately from the Billing page (see Manage Billing & Subscription). Cancel it there, or in Stripe directly, before or after uninstalling.
