Organization Configuration
We built ToolboxAI to let teams utilize AI out of the box as fast as possible. That said, organization configuration can make our AI tools even more useful to your business.
Review Selected Models
Each tool (Activity Summarizer, Extractor, ToolboxAI) has its own Provider and Model setting — see Choosing AI Models for the current options and guidance on which model fits which tool.
Review Data Settings
Decide how much data ToolboxAI pulls in and whether PII gets masked before it's sent to a provider — see ToolboxAI Data Options for the three org-wide toggles and what each one does.
Configure Fields for Extractor
Our field extractor can be customized to pull any fields from any object in your Organization to suit your business' unique needs.
- Go to the Salesforce Setup
- Go to Object Manager, and select the object (standard or custom) you want to configure Extractor for.
- Go to the Field Sets tab.
- If you see "ToolboxAI__Extractor_Fields", open it — that's the field set our package pre-creates on some objects (the double underscore marks it as package-delivered). If it isn't there, click "new" and create a new field set named "ToolboxAI_Extractor_Fields" instead (single underscore, since you're creating it yourself). Either name works — the Extractor checks for both.
- Add the fields you want extracted for that object to that field set by dragging the fields to the layout below.
- ToolboxAI will now extract fields for that object from the record pages it was added to.
- Repeat steps 2 through 6 for all Objects you want to configure.
